RD 4 - A WEEKEND IN PUTRAJAYA NOT TO BE MISSED! PULLMAN HOTEL DEALS!

Next weekend will be the grand finale of the 2010 waterski & wakeboard season in Malaysia’s premier water sports centre.

Rd 4 of the Malaysian championships will be held from 12 to 14 Nov (8am to 6pm each day).

Highlights:

1.0   China’s Shu “Sky” Zhenyi 2006 Asian jump champion and current China’s champion for last 6 years will attempt to take gold from Indonesian stars Zahidi Putu and Maliki Zulkarnain. All jump beyond 45m!

2.0   Indonesia’s women jump champion Endar Pupul who beat Malaysia’s Phillipa Yoong (Malaysian jump, slalom & tricks champion) by mere centimetres with a leap of 29.9m leap in the Oct 2010 Asian championship will renew their close rivalry with the fauvorite title of who will win next year’s 2011 SEA Games jump gold at stake.

3.0   Singapore’s Sasha Christian Asian wakeboard queen with multiple Asian and regional titles will like to show she has no peers in women wakeboard competition in the region to take gold again in Putrajaya armed with latest Redbull sponsorship.

4.0   Malaysia’s youngest waterski competitor and fast rising international competitor, Aaliyah Yoong Hanifah with a recent top 10 placing in the 2010 Asian Open women tricks event in Jakarta wants to beat her half sister Phillipa Yoong win her first Open gold in women tricks with strong competition from Open trick skiers from Indonesia. 5.0   Kuwait sends a strong wakeboard team led by team captain Bader Abdullah Al-Jihayem who is joint favourite to win gold with Singapore’s Joshua Tay.

6.0   Phillipa Yoong has strong Indonesian competition to defend her slalom title from 1997 SEA Games gold medalist Baiq Vera Yolandasari.

7.0   Watch the titanic fights for golds in the age group and open competitions for wakeboard, slalom, tricks and jump as national athletes from all over Asia in preparation for the 2010 Asian Beach Games in December, the 2011 SEA Games and the 2011 Asian championships right here in Putrajaya.
